Then St. Mary's Pastoral Center is the place to be. It is situated off Nakuru-Nairobi highway, just next to Hyrax Hill Museum. It is also 3km from Nakuru town. This is a project of the Catholic Diocese of Nakuru that operates as a hotel within a church; hence the calm and spiritual environment. It offers accommodation, laundry, catering, conference, religious, recreation and entertainment facilities to all. It also has a secure parking lot with a capacity of holding roughly two hundred (200) vehicles. And this and much more at affordable rates and of course personalized services.
We have also opened a
cozy hotel within the Secretariat Plaza compound that also offers
quality food in a quite environment. AccommodationThe center has got a total of 45 guest rooms four of which are executive rooms, one deluxe and twenty one (21) self-contained rooms. The remaining 16 rooms are standard rooms with common facilities shared among 8 rooms. All our rooms are doubles all with twin beds and comfortable
mattresses CATERINGThe restaurant can accommodate a capacity of 120 people at a sitting comfortably with appetizingly set tables. The arrangement differs depending on the number of guests-in-house The menus are set daily from the kitchen by qualified
chefs and with special requests; ones special meal can always be
prepared. The flavour will set your mouth watering even before you
see the meal. CONFERENCE AND SEMINAR FACILITIESSt. Mary's Pastoral Center is also a venue for many conferences and seminars for both groups and individuals e.g. wedding receptions and parties. It has got different halls for different group capabilities:
LAUNDRYSimple guest laundry is also done at an affordable fee and if one prefers to do their own laundry the facilities are also available to in-house guest
CHAPELFor your spiritual nourishment, there is a chapel with the compound where one can visit at any time of the day. Groups could also say prayers in it every morning before or after their sessions. It can hold a capacity of about two hundred guests at once.
ENTERTAINMENT AND RECREATIONFor your social growth, the center offers a recreation room which helps you unwind as you watch television or a movie. You can also use the swimming pool which operates daily from 8:00 am to 5:00pm. It is suitable for both children and adults.
